Strengthening Our System, Inc. is small, locally owned and locally based human service agency that provides a variety of home and community based services for children and adults with special needs in the New River Valley, Roanoke and surrounding areas.

 

Strengthening Our System, Inc.’s mission is to promote independence, increase daily living skills and personal empowerment, and improve quality of life of those we serve. To achieve these goals we provide home and community based services and supports to children and adults with a diagnosis of Mental Retardation, Mental Illness, Developmental Disability, or a dual diagnosis of MR/MH or DD/MH.
